Nick Petrinko – Registered Dental Hygienist
Nick has worked with Dr. Sheen as his hygienist since graduating from the Dental Hygiene Program at the University of Maryland in 1996. He is continuously improving his skills in patient care and increasing his knowledge of the latest techniques in periodontal, or gum, therapy.
He has spent hundreds of hours on continuing education with an emphasis on systemic conditions. In conjunction with his duties as a hygienist, he focuses on each patient’s individual needs and concerns and is dedicated to assisting his patients to achieve overall health and wellness.
Off hours, Nick spends the majority of his time enjoying his family and two sons. Numerous interests, including fly fishing, surfing, gardening, and antique restoration, keep him very busy. We are proud to have Nick as part of our team and offer his extensive knowledge and skills.
Nikki Fleming – Certified Dental Chairside Assistant
Nikki has worked with Dr. Sheen since 1994. She can be found either working chairside, assisting in the care of our patients, or, more frequently, in the business office assisting our patients with various administrative duties. Nikki is currently a member of the National Association of Dental Assistants and is certified in expanded chairside function. This broad dental knowledge makes her an invaluable asset to our practice.
Her regular participation in continuing education courses keeps her at the forefront in both the clinical and administrative arenas. Nikki’s forte is her interaction with our patients, delivering them comfort and compassion before, during, and after treatment.
Nikki is a native of Annapolis. She enjoys baking, cake decorating, and spending time with family and friends. We are thrilled to have her as part of our team. Please feel free to consult Nikki regarding any treatment-related or administrative questions that may arise.
Connita Wilson – Office Administrator
Connita is the Executive Director of Dr. Sheen’s office. She has over 34 years of dental experience, from assisting to practice management. With this knowledge, she can assist our patients with their administrative needs and answer any clinical questions that may arise. She loves working with people, so you will find her to be extremely professional, courteous, and caring.
Connita currently resides in Crofton. Family is important to her, and she makes every effort to spend as much time with them as possible. She enjoys traveling – places like Germany and Austria and will be visiting Italy in 2020 while still enjoying trips to small local towns for shopping and site seeing or to Florida and the Caribbean for some rest and relaxation.
Connita is a reader of mystery novels, enjoys participating in arts and crafts projects, and plans to start bicycle riding during the spring.
Connita is a definite asset to the practice. Connita’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scheduling, insurance claims filing/follow-up, and treatment plan coordination and financial arrangements.
Gracie Rustin – Certified Dental Chairside Assistant
Gracie joined our team in 2018. She brings with her over 10 years of experience – from the front office to chairside assisting expertise. When she is not assisting Dr. Sheen in improving smiles and providing quality patient care, she is spending quality time with her young son, Joseph.
She also enjoys singing and cooking, is an avid movie watcher, and just enjoys spending time with family. Gracie was born and raised in Washington, DC, but now resides in Baltimore County.
Jen Wiltbank- Registered Dental Hygienist
Jen joined our team in 2019. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2009. While there, she was part of the Periodontal Honors Clerkship program.
Since becoming a dental hygienist, Jen has worked in general, periodontal, and pediatric specialty practices. She loves general dentistry because she gets to see all of the specialties in one setting and become their primary dental advocate.
Jen continues to grow in her field through didactic and clinical continuing education courses while concentrating on the latest techniques to best treat her patients. She loves educating her patients on the prevention of disease. One of Jen’s favorite things about being a dental hygienist is meeting and building long-lasting relationships with her patients.
Jen was born and raised on the Eastern Shore, where she still lives with her husband, son, and daughter. She enjoys traveling, creating everyday adventures with her family, and cheering for the Orioles.
